“Serve your highest self.” “Fill your tank with gratitude.” “Reconnect to yourself.” “Reach your potential.”

At Goddess On The Go, these phrases echoed throughout the day. We were continuously being inspired to search deep within ourselves and find who we are, who we want to be, and how we can get there. This all might sound ridiculously cheesy and “out there” and I myself was hesitant at first. I thought, this will probably be a bunch of spiritual hippie BS and totally not meant for me. I’ll just be an observer from afar. I realize now how judgmental I had been.

Origins of Goddess On the Go

Goddess On the Go was created in 2012 by founder Leora Edut. Even as a young girl, Leora had a passion for bringing women together, realizing even then just how powerful a group of woman can be. After going through her own transformational journey in her young adult life for ten years, Leora has taken the lessons she’s learned and has found a way to give back. She has now dedicated herself to serving others. She works with Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS), the only organization in New York State specifically designed to serve girls and young women who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking. And of course Goddess On The Go(GOTG), which “reconnects women to their essential needs, so they can experience life with a full “tank” of gratitude and glow.” Her workshops, which take place 4 times a year, bring women together to reconnect to their pure and perfect pleasure, spice up their sensual sides, and bask in the power of sisterhood. Led by a compelling group of experts on wellness, spirituality, and beauty, participants dive into all that’s divine about being a woman.

This Goddess On the Go day included 4 workshops/ talks by experts in the field of spirituality and wellness; Sensual Awakening Movement with Tatiana Dellepiane, Blueprint for Health with Sharon Holand Gelfand, Access The Inner Wisdom of Your Akashic Records with Vanessa Codorniu, and Dream It Do It with Jackein Janic. Additionally, there were activities around the perimeter of the event, including card readings, energy healing, etc., which were available during breaks all day long. What I enjoyed most was getting to know the attendees, hearing their stories, and seeing each other grow and heal as the day progressed.

Too often, women are busy running from place to place, forgetting to take care of ourselves first (if at all). We get disconnected from our bodies, our needs, and our intuition, forgetting what makes us happy—or that we even deserve to feel happiness at all. At Goddess On The Go workshops, women connect, move their bodies, and uncover their bombshell beauty, in a fun space designed to heal and create lasting fulfillment. It’s a serene celebration of life, goddess style!

Now who doesn’t want to be part of that? I may not have thought GOTG was for me, but I walked away from the day feeling rejuvenated and confident. I felt like I had reawakened myself and that I could finally tell my self-critic to shut up. In short, I felt empowered. If you think you could benefit from the Goddess On The Go (which I promise you all of us can!) then I urge you to check out their site and find an upcoming event to attend.

Are you ready to put yourself first?
