The next stop on my pizza adventure was to Pizza 33 NYC. I have heard many people say that Pizza 33 is their favorite pizza spot in the entire city. Since it is just around the corner from me I decided to check it out. I headed to Pizza 33 with two friends on a Friday night.  We may, or may not, have been out at a bar before that and definitely had some interest in late night grub.

Late Night at Pizza 33 NYC

It was a little later in the night and the pizza selection was looking a little picked over but I saw one slice that was calling my name. It looked like sausage pizza to me but I learned it was their beef slice.  It was their margarita slice topped with ground beef.  I was a little surprised that when the bill rang up my one slice with tax came to about $5. A little pricey if you ask me but the size made up for the price tag.  And it is possible that this was Uber Pizza…offering Late Night Surge pricing.

My slice was definitely that size you always hope pizza will be, totally overflowing from the edges of my plate. I added my favorite toppings, all of them, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and lots of parm! The pizza at Pizza 33 NYC, as opposed to my last pizza adventure, was really that classic NY pizza. The crust is thin and crispy and perfect for folding. We also ordered their buffalo chicken slice, which was equally as huge and delicious. If you’re a fan of white pizza, like me, you’ve got to try their spinach ricotta slice, it is out of this world! Their garlic knots are another fan favorite, I’ve heard claims that they’re the best in the city, not too doughy inside but perfectly crispy on the outside. Ask for extra marinara to dunk them in.

On weekends Pizza 33 stays open until 4a.m. so head in and grab a slice to soak up all those fireball shots, you party animal!
