You need a new Travel Bag and you know it.  With warmer weather finally approaching, it’s time to start booking those weekend getaways. Whether you’re heading east to the Hamptons or up north to Newport, you’re going to need the perfect travel bag. Lucky for you, I’ve found a great selection of stylish, yet functional travel bags that will fit a weekend’s worth of necessities.

Vineyard Whale Classic Tote from Vineyard Vines

This is my all-time favorite travel tote. I got my first one in college with my alma mater’s logo as the pattern and I’ve worn it to death. Vineyard Vines constantly introduces new patterns but I know I can’t go wrong with this classic whale print when I need a refresh. You’d be surprised how much you can fit in this light tote and the zip-top closure is an added bonus.

Sloane Ranger Anchor Canvas Duffle Travel Bag from Tuckernuck

This bag will definitely be working it’s way into my arsenal of anchor-infused accessories. It’s a warm-weather must-have with a nautical punch. The size, pattern and shape are perfect for my beach travels and it can even double as a gym bag.

Canvas Satchel in Navy Stripe from Gap

Navy AND Stripes? Sold. The Gap has really upped it’s accessories game this season and this satchel is an interesting take on the traditional canvas bag. A front flap provides extra security but I love it’s accessibility. The other colors and patterns that this bag comes in will compliment any wardrobe.

Boat and Tote Bag from L.L. Bean

L.L. Bean’s signature tote is well-known for its durability and versatility. There are four sizes and five colors to choose from plus the option (always a yes for me) to personalize with a monogram. I have had many of these throughout the years that I’ve used for school, grocery shopping and of course, weekend trips!

Strand Duffle Travel Bag in Navy/Red from Herschel

This Herschel duffle is another twist on the traditional canvas bag that comes in an endless variety of colors and patterns. The red and navy one has my name written all over it. Big enough to fit all your gear but the perfect size for overhead compartments or to stow underneath a seat.

Now that I have picked out my favorite Spring Travel Bags all I need to do is pick a place to go.  I think Eat Up New York should do a road trip (via plane) to the Caribbean.  I am definitely putting that one in the suggestion box.
