Brisket King NYC 2026: 20+ Pitmasters, One Crown, All the Brisket You Can Eat Trent Warner April 20, 2026 bbq, Events, Featured Twenty-something pitmasters are about to throw down at Pig Beach BBQ in Astoria on April 29, and every single ticket gets you all-you-can-eat brisket and an open bar until 9pm. This is Brisket King NYC, and it’s been running for 14 years for a reason. How It Works Brisket King is part competition, part all-you-can-eat brisket party. Over 20 chefs and restaurants from New York and beyond each bring their best brisket, and you get to eat all of it. We’re talking low-and-slow Texas-style, global flavor spins, and everything in between. While you’re working through plate after plate, the chefs are competing for the Brisket King crown. Every ticket is all-inclusive. That means unlimited brisket samples from every competitor, plus drinks, from the moment you walk in until 9pm. No drink tickets. No add-ons. Just show up hungry. Who’s Competing The lineup reads like a greatest-hits of past champions coming back for another run. Richie Holmes of Juicy Lucy BBQ is a two-time Brisket King (2019 and 2021). David Gill of Wildwoods BBQ took it in 2023. Leland Avellino of Avellino Family Barbecue held the title in 2024. And defending champ Anthony Scerri of Smoke Sweats is back to protect the crown. That’s four former winners in one lineup, plus a deep bench of challengers. The competition is real.
