In its 2nd year, the NYC Autumn Wine Festival is back in the city for what is being dubbed A Celebration of Wine Downtown. This event is taking place on Saturday, November 22nd at the Broad Street Ballroom opposite the New York Stock Exchange. There will be over 200 wines featured, selected by Vintry Fine Wines, hors d’oeuvres, and live jazz.

The Details for the NYC Autumn Wine Festival

The venue is something else, it’s going to blow people away. The Broad Street Ballroom is one of the premier event spaces in the city. In the heart of Wall Street, the ballroom was built as the Headquarters of the Lee-Higginson Bank in the late 1920’s. It is widely recognized as the most impressive building on Broad Street.

The live jazz will be filling this gorgeous ballroom throughout the evening. If you are into contemporary jazz you will know award-winning guitarist Matt Marshak. His live shows feature a simple quartet that really allows him to show off the talents of his bandmates. This unique guitar musician is becoming the new, original guitar voice, pushing jazz and groove music to their limits.

Like many NYC wine festivals, the NYC Autumn Wine Festival selections will be curated by Vintry Fine Wines. Reds, whites and grape blends from around the world will be testing your pallets throughout the evening. Of course there will be a light fare of cheeses and hors d’oeuvres to compliment the different wine selections.

There will be two sessions for this event, an afternoon session going from 3-6pm and an evening session going from 8-10pm. At both sessions for those trying to expand their wine knowledge, there will be wine classes. These small educational classes will dive into 4-5 specially featured wine where you can taste and learn about the selections from an expert sommelier.

The NYC Autumn Wine Festival is truly a can’t miss for your Fall season.
